Or being presented with the Mayors Award at the 2004 Australia Day Breakfast.
In presenting the award Mayor Peter Whitford said it acknowledged Bob’s 'contribution to the arts and adding colour and character to the district.’

 

He went on to add ‘Bob Magor is recognised as the best bush poet in the district.’
He then commented, ‘Of course, Bob Magor is the only bush poet in the district!’
